Step 4: Configure Subdomain Settings

Subdomain Name: Enter the desired subdomain name in the provided field. For example, if you want to create blog.example.com, enter "blog."

Document Root: Specify the document root directory for the subdomain. This is where the files for the subdomain will be stored. Plesk usually suggests a default directory like /subdomains/subdomain_name.

Test: Open a web browser and visit your new subdomain (e.g., blog.example.com) to ensure it is working correctly. Please ensure you add the subdomain in your DNS zone as an A record so that it also resolves to the server’s IP address.

Additional Tips

  • SSL Certificates: Secure your subdomain with an SSL certificate. This can usually be done through the SSL/TLS section in Plesk.
