Setting up an Email using DirectAdmin
To create an email address on DirectAdmin, follow these steps:
Log in to DirectAdmin
- Open your web browser and navigate to your DirectAdmin login page, which will typically be a URL similar to https://yourdomain.com:2222
- Enter your username and password, then click "Login."
Navigate to the Email Section
- Once you're logged in, locate the "Email Manager" section from the main dashboard or the menu.
- Click on "E-Mail Accounts" under the Email Manager.
Add a New Email Account
- Click the "Create Account" button.
Fill in Email Account Details
- Username: Enter the desired email address prefix. For example, if you want "user@yourdomain.com," type "user."
- Password: Set a strong password or click "random icon" to generate one.
- Email Quota: Specify the amount of storage (in MB) for this email account or set it to "Unlimited."
- Daily Limit Send: You can define the number of emails the account can send daily to prevent spam.
Click "Create"
- After filling in the necessary fields, click "Create Account" to complete the process.
Access Your Email
- Once the email address is created, you can access it via webmail, email client, or use IMAP/POP3 settings provided by DirectAdmin.
