Acronis backup in DirectAdmin
To access Acronis Backup on your DirectAdmin server and restore backups, follow these steps:
Accessing Acronis Backup:
Log in to DirectAdmin
- Open your web browser and navigate to your DirectAdmin login page, which will typically be a URL similar to https://yourdomain.com:2222. Alternatively, you can login through your Client Control Panel.
- Enter your username and password, then click "Sign in."
Navigate to Acronis Backup:
- In the main menu, look for Extra Features.
- Select Acronis Backup from the list of installed plugins.
Access Backup Dashboard:
- This will take you to the Acronis Backup dashboard, where you can view and manage your backup schedules, existing backups, and restoration options.
Restoring a Backup:
- Select the Backup to Restore:

- In the Acronis Backup interface, you’ll see a list of available backups.

- Choose the backup you wish to restore (based on the date or type of backup).
Choose What to Restore:
- You can restore individual files.

- Domains (files on your main domain or subdomain).
- Once you have chosen the if you want to restore the files from the main domain or subdomain, you will be redirected to your file manager.
- Select the desired data type (files, databases, etc.).
Initiate the Restore Process:
- After selecting what you want to restore, click Restore.
- Confirm your selection when prompted.
Monitor the Restoration Process:
- A progress bar or notification will show you the status of the restoration.
- Wait for the process to complete. The time taken will depend on the size of the data being restored. When the backup has been restored, you will get a notification on screen.
Verify the Restore:
- Once the restoration is complete, check your website and data to ensure everything has been properly restored.
