Changing from DHCP to PPPoE

The following steps will guide you through in changing your Zyxel router from DHCP to PPPoE

• Open your preferred Internet Browser (Edge, Chrome, Firefox etc.)
• Enter the router default IP address (192.168.1.1) in the url address bar.
• If prompted for a password on the login page, enter the password you had opted for when configuring the router the first time. The default username is admin.

• You will be directed to the router’s Status page.

• Click on Network Settings, then Broadband
• On the Broadband settings page, Click on the Edit icon to change the ETHWAN settings.

• Within the WAN Configuration Popup window, change the Encapsulation from IPoE to PPPoE

• Enter your provided username and password in the PPP Username and Password blocks. (Note no other changes need to be made on this page). And click Apply to apply the changes.
